I really enjoyed this graphic novel! The illustrations brought the story to life, I was invested in the plot from get go.

Delightful! This was so impactful for such a short story. The interconnected stories of cats and their owners are moving and relatable. The writing style amplifies the magical realism vibe. And I love the cover art and the illustrations in the beginning of each chapter.

I was probably still too banged up from my fever to listen to this audiobook. I found it super hard to focus on, with the changing timelines and the chaotic atmosphere. 

This was sad, violent and brutal. Full of powerlessness and anguish. I truly hope this isn’t a reality for people, though at the same time I realise it very much is for many folks around the world. 

As my brain is still fogged up from the fever, I don’t have exact memories of the book, but I’m left with the feeling of a prey trying to escape capture.
