The strength is in the understanding of the language of young women. Fast paced, funny, and over too soon.

Terence provided an interesting take on the story (Ancient Rome being notorious for bastardising Greek plays)...very sympathetic to the careless father. Humour intact despite the age of the play, although the exposition is more suited to an older audience.

GBS admitted this was embarrassing for him to put his name on. The quality comes from the talent of the writer, but everything else is lazy and rushed. I believe it was written specifically for a charity event to be performed for children... and it shows.
