I would give this series 10 stars if I could. It is the best thought out webtoon I’ve read in years. 

The world building is god-tier and the character development is even better. 

It’s a slow burn romance with a crazy amount of tension. Unputdownable!

Hooked me INSTANTLY!  I am a sucker for isekai so as soon as our actress heroine lands herself smack into the middle of a fantasy world, playing the role of fake lover to the duke, I knew I would love it. 

With webtoons especially, it can be difficult to have a strong hook and then to keep the reader’s attention throughout the season. This author did a phenomenal job!

We got the perfect blend of humor, mystery, and intrigue so far. I have very high expectations for this whole series. Way to go author! Maybe one of my fav reads from 2024.

The premise of this series is wonderful. It begins with a great hook, solid characters, and some really great antagonists in the story. However, as time goes on the amount of misunderstandings between the two main characters is so frustrating. Simple conversations could have solved 90% of their issues. I wish some of the later conflicts had maybe been slightly more fleshed out and leaned less on the two MCs not hearing each other out.

This series does something well that I think a lot of series fall flat on — it makes the reincarnation trope fresh and interesting. We all LOVE that trope for what it is, but sometimes it’s nice to see an author be inventive with it. 

Our main characters have a rocky start and the “villainess” all but accepts her fate of being hated by her love interest and his family. In doing so, she captures his attention by being her true self “not the character she is playing.” 

The ML goes through major character growth and it’s refreshing to see his perspective widen not only thanks to the MC but thanks to others around him as well. Overall a well rounded cast. Each episode has felt well worth my fast pass coins. 

I would likely read anything this author does.

I loved this entire series all the way up until the last episode. There was so much build up, the story telling was amazing, characters super loveable. Almost perfect. 

And then the last episode just completely threw me for a loop and undid a lot of what I thought the series was ramping up to do.

I loved A LOT of this series, but it was sometimes difficult to know what was a flashback, where we were in the story chronologically, etc. the pacing was a bit in the slower side for my personal taste as well. 

Overall though it was a BEAUTIFUL story with phenomenal artwork.

Devil Number 4 is a webtoon that I read a couple years ago, but still think about to this day. 

There ARE still a lot of open ended questions that weren’t quite answered in the series in my opinion — but it feels like the author left it open that way on purpose for interpretation. (Which I love.) 

All of the romance pairings were *chef’s kiss*. So good. 10/10 I will probably reread this one. It’s the best devil romance I’ve ever read.

This silly little webtoon made me laugh so much. Hot and Cold collide in this slow-burn romance. 

The main characters are adorable in how they interact with each other. It’s one of those webcomics where NONE of the episodes feels like filler. Each one kept me engaged.
