The writing felt so familiar, so mundane yet so compelling. The same way felt Keiko's battle against society norms, expectations and her love of the convinience store.

I heard people call her robotic, but at her core, Keiko is one of the most humans characters ive ever met. Everything she does comes from the desire to belong, to be accepted ans to be "normal" an to me there's nothing more human than that.

I liked the comentary on society, patriarchy and rules. I liked it even more when i heard the author didnt meant it to be a critic, but a reflection of what happens in this story, because it dosnt only reflects on Keiko and japanese women but on every woman and outsider ever.

Pd: i hate Shiraha, and the author does too

Taylor Jenkins Reid way of writting is compelling to me. With her books i cant seem to put thw book down. I laugh and cry with the characters, i get so into it that i end up missing them once the book is finished.

Loved the pace, loved the love story, loved the rage and loved the fire.

I loved how the protagonist (nina) navegated dating in this time and age, how the relationships were portrayed. Iloved the characters and most definitly i love the way dolly alderton writes. Its feels like sometimes you are reading someone's private thoughts

i didnt like her having sex with angelo i think i would have stopped at the kissing, maybe another form of intimacy, it felt like fulfilling a fantasy. I know its explained why nina did what she did but it still felt weird and out of pocket, idk idk
