It’s fine but the characters do a full 720 at one point which ruined the vibe of the book. Loved my bae Jacob Morgan though <33

The resolution was a little bit of a letdown but overall I enjoyed it :)

I tried but couldn’t get into it. Would be a great recommendation for a fantasy fan but as a beginner, it was too much for me

Started off great when they hated each other and had insane tension then went swiftly down the drain

Flat characters with no development. Only kept reading cause I wanted to see how it would end

The amount of times the FMC was referred to as a child was DISGUSTING… And yet I couldn’t put the book down so maybe I’m the disgusting one

It felt like a personal piece from the author and I am honored to have read it especially after reading the authors note. I fully could not put it down and the pacing felt so natural I read this all in one sitting.

It would be great for someone else I just really don’t like second chance romances and figuring things out slowly over time. Just tell me why you broke up instead of building it up in my head just for me to end up disappointed!

The basis and idea of the book was amazing but it was hard to really connect with the characters, the joy, pain and sometimes isolation they felt since it’s hard to really build those foundations in disconnected short stories. It was also hard to understand the reasonings behind certain choices therefore making it hard to feel fulfilled after the stories. But maybe that was the point…?
