The name change in the beginning compared to the name at the back of the book was jarring. I get what the author was trying to do but unfortunately it didn’t land well. The pacing was also a little too fast at times but overall liked it and it kept me hooked.

First chapter butcher disappeared way too fast. Miss that cute boo. I also wish that they had actually explored the ‘traumatic past’ they kept referencing.
