โ  Willow laced her fingers through my hand, beaming up at me. I loved her smile. It made me wonder what lengths I would go to earn it, over and over again.  โž

This was such a cute, quick, spicy read and I loved it so much! The characters were fun and lighthearted and I loved the Halloween theme woven into it!

Y'ALL WE'RE DONE ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿคง

This book gave me what I wanted for the rest of our Callahans. There were also some nor so great things but overall I really enjoyed these two and I absolutely loved that we had every one of the past Callahan couples make their appearances.

Izzy and Nik were so fun and felt different from the rest of books, but still stayed true within the typical Callahan family dynamic. I really enjoyed watching them building each other up and just how they interacted through the good and the bad. I would've loved to have gotten more backstory from when Izzy and Nik first met, though! I felt if we had more of that and less of these side quests that felt thrown in at some parts it would've made the lengthy-ness of this book make more sense.

The mental health rep in this was so good. As someone who hasn't had any experience with this specific situation I did appreciate the explanations and just the process of coping and working through those issues was really nice to see.

Honestly my biggest complaints were the length of this book, the random side stories that honestly didn't all need to be in there, and there were some parts I wasn't a huge fan of the disconnect in communication between Nik and Izzy (how many times were we gonna break up honestly).

I have no words. I seriously loved this book and dove into the second one so fast! Maggie writes so beautifully and how she depicted Christian's grief, along with navigating how to raise his daughters, was just gut wrenchingly wonderful to read. I know I've seen various opinions on Cass but I loved her throughout, how she found her own way to connect and bond with the girls along with other people on the ranch was so funny and sweet that struck true to who she was.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 27%.
DNF @ 27% for now, might try to come back to this later though as the reviews have high hopes!

Just wasn't in my interests unfortunately! The storyline felt very slow paced and I was having a hard time feeling connected to the characters.

โ  Is it too much to ask for a call back after tossing a stranger's salad so good he actually cries for his mommy when I'm done? No. No, I don't think so.  โž

THIS ONE'S THE WORST. I've only read three but this one HAS to be the cringiest. This one didn't have me laughing out loud as much but I was gasping a lot. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ’€

โ  Until, by some divine intervention, I took a highway exit to a little beachside town with a coffee trailer called Flicky D's Beans and met my future wife.  โž

Definitely cringey and quite funny! Not as many sexual innuendos but the prank scenes were hella funny and I loved them honestly.

โ  Being this close to her, I get lost in the intensity of her eyes. I want to crawl inside and wrap myself in the comfort of her body. Itโ€™s like being drawn to my own death by a siren in the sea.  โž

This book had me hooked and ready to see through to the end of our kinky little family. However, about midway through I lost interest which really saddened me.

I didn't love Jade. At some points she felt like an extra and I wish we could've gotten more from her on her sexuality. It's like she suddenly met Eden and decided right then and there she was bisexual. She was also supposed to be this under confident character but straightforward and bold, which to me seemed off and I had a hard time relating to her with that personality.

Eden was good honestly. Her backstory was so tragic and watching her evolve and become stronger for herself and Jack was really sweet. Clay was also good, I didn't love or hate him but he didn't really stick out much for me.

Honestly I think the shining moments were when Eden mentored Jade and when they all had sex together. Those really portrayed the Dom/Sub relationship along with having three people and I honestly enjoyed those scenes a lot, not from the spicy perspective but moreso just getting to know all of that more.

The miscommunication was dragged out too long and too much. At some point I was just starting to skim through to get to the next scene.

THAT FINAL EPILOGUE THOUGH?! I swear if we don't get anything after that I will riot.

โ  Thank whatever genius invented gray sweatpants and athletic shorts. Because they clearly had no inclination that their miraculous creation would show every inch of a well-endowed man.  โž

This book & the DNF series are meant to be cringy af but holy shit y'all.

I was CACKLING at some of those scenes and the amount of phrases that I had never heard before was just fantastic.

I can't wait to read more of this weird cringy sex shit tbh. ๐Ÿ˜‚

โ  Because the way Jasper is staring at me right now has my stomach twisting and thighs clenching. I return to gazing out the window at the black lake and try to gather my thoughts. Because I've been staring at Jasper Gervais since I was ten years old, and suddenly . . . he's staring back.  โž

This was...okay? Not my favorite for sure, which is sad to say because I did love Sloane and Jasper a lot.

The spicy scenes though had me ๐Ÿฅต๐Ÿชญ Y'all the dressing room scene?! ๐Ÿซ

Also if I see "roll my lips" in any of the next books though I'm lowkey gonna lose it.

I would've also liked a little bit more about Beau. You drop this big thing on us and we barely had any scenes with him afterwards and I would've liked just a little more to lead us with into his book.

When he comes up for air, it's the most alive he's felt in months.

For being 6 pages this gave us a lot to digest. We learn quickly that Jameson is suffering from a terminal illness and Gina has an unfortunate past. This novella gives you the feeling of not taking anything for granted.

I'm very curious to read more about these two and how they came together. For a novella this was just enough to spark the interest!

๐Ÿ“š Thank you Donna for reaching out so I could have the chance to read this! This story sounds very promising!
