You're So Dead to Me by Steffanie Holmes, Steffanie Holmes

This book checked all of my boxes!
Really enjoyed this fun and silly read.
Also wish I had Bree (or Minas) life lol
The murderer was…. Predictable but in a good way. Maybe I also read a lot of mysteries so I saw it coming but it was still a very cute book.

I enjoyed the easy read and slow burn between the characters. However, it was a little predictable and often the author would repeat the same things in different ways. This did get to the point of redundancy. I will write this off as the authors first book.
I would have love to see more of a story arch rather than all the good bits happening in the last couple chapters.
The spice was 3/5 and tasteful.
I enjoyed the dynamic between the main characters enough to finish the book. Not sure it warrants A second read through.

If we have to pick favs, it’s Edward always. ♥️
Didn’t enjoy it as much as the first but understood we’re setting up for a series here and more to come.
Spice wasn’t as good as the first one either but had its moments. Maybe because Pax is my least fav of the three (sorry if that offends anyone lol)
Can’t wait for the rest of the series. So glad to find this author.

1. Not sure why people recommended ACOTAR to read first because this series trumps it easily. Team Celeana allllllllll day.
2. The twists and TURNS this book had. I will be personally billing Maas for jaw surgery for the sheer amount of times I gasped. Seriously if you haven’t read this series yet, what are you doing.
