3.5 stars- I enjoyed the beginning and I liked the ending but the middle bits just felt really dragged out. Ofc way better than the movie but still so very cheesy and full of that early queer love

Loved this a lot more than the first one, the characters had more chemistry together and it didn’t have Scott’s weird like hiding his boyfriend in a box trope.

After reading heated rivalry and more of the game changer series, I can say that I didn’t enjoy this one as much as I thought I did. Kip is great, I just don’t love how Scott like does the whole repressed gay= hide your boyfriend away in ur apartment thing. Like the book ends fine but definitely the weakest out of the books
