Una obra maestra. Sigue la historia de Rosalie, una pintora guadalupeña que ha dejado que su vida sea dirigida por sus relaciones con hombres. El libro sigue su desarrollo personal tras la muerte de su última pareja. Qué bien escribe!

Azken kapitulua bihotzera gertuegi heldu zait, besteak zailagoak egin zaizkit, nahiz eta idea batzuk argi asko ulertu esperientzia pertsonaletik.

Gaurkotasun ikaragarria 2006-2011n zehar irakurritako testuak. Kolonialismoaren inguruan europan beharrezkoa dugun debaterako iritzi garrantzitsuak, Israelgo estatuak Palestinarren genozidioan bete-betean sartuta dagoen honetan, euskaldunen erreferentzien hausnarketa bat.  Mestizajea, Nazio-Estatuak eta euskalduntasunaren inguruan zer pentsatua.

Took me a while to start because it seems quite serious at the start, but ends up becoming more tense and absorbing. I like the characters and how they stand up for their grounds, and how queer people have been making communities and helping each other out forever.

It's wonderful. There is a lot of Sri Lankan political context that I had no idea of, so had to suplement with wikipedia incursions, but I liked the mix of thriller, history, and queerness. The character development is amazing and the philosophical undertone on death as well.

Hitz gutxi gelditze zaizkit, hau kostau in zait irakurtzie. Kostau ez gaizki idatzita daolako, alderantziz, baino banezkila uste nun gauza asko berpentsatzea derrigortu naulako. Feminismotik dekolonialismue, geure herriko adibidekin, ulertu nahi dunantzako ikaragarrizko lana. San Inaziyotako hillabete eskaxea gaudela, ze pentsaua.

I LOVED it. Exactly the dive-in intersectional fiction I needed.
