I'm totally into the retelling of Greek mythology through a female POV, but this fell short for me. There was a lot of 'tell' and not much 'show', which obviously has its place but this just felt too much.
The female characters are very passive and whilst the theme is supposedly 'sisterhood', it felt more like a bunch of women who got treated like shit because of the mistakes and failings of the men around them and couldn't really do anything for each other or themselves.
This is still an easy, enjoyable read if you can get past the other stuff.

I loved the way this story unfolded with alternating viewpoint chapters. It genuinely kept me on the edge of my seat but I am left with some unanswered questions.

A strong start and middle but felt a bit let down by a few things as it ramped up to a resolution.
