This is the best book in The Keeper series so far! We got some long awaited romance and spice! The author uses such vivid descriptions to describe the world. I really enjoyed going on this journey with these characters. The end of the book is a rollercoaster of emotions and I got chills at least 3 times. The epilogue also sets up what is to come in the fourth and final book.

The Keeper (book 1) was just the tip of the iceberg of this world. We went so much deeper in The Black Forest (book 2) and The Veil (book 3). It is a truly unique world and story and I would recommend it to any fantasy lover.

This was the perfect follow up book to The Keeper. We learned so much more about the world, and a lot of new characters are introduced. I was pleasantly surprised to start reading and find out this takes places hundreds of years after The Keeper.

I really loved the dialogue in this book. There were instances where I found it incredibly realistic.

I’m so excited to read book 3 and find out more about Hazen’s role in this world!
