I enjoyed this! Yes it was a little repetitive at times and the moral of the story was you have to change yourself in order to make people like you but I enjoyed the premise and the way it ended so... Yeah :)

I finished it!

Didn't love as much as everyone else, ending let it down I think. I feel like a sequel is being set up which is annoying. Not everything needs to be a series.

I liked the premise and as an English language grad, yes!! Lots of nerdy stuff for me. Characterisation mostly good. Wanted more for Ramy.

Enjoyable as thrillers go but I'm just not a thriller girly these days!

Commentary was good on influencers/putting children online

Pros: gripping, mixed media, faux true crime, commentary on true crime as an industry
Cons: fiction parts were meh, a little bit too chaotic with its direction (true crime? Spirits? School shooter fan? Tumblr?

I also wanted more from the ending. Yes, it turns out he was a bit unreliable but I wanted a massive twist ending where the case is blown wide open. And it wasn't at all.
