This was such a creepy read. A father's desperate attempt to escape a sinister circus and its clowns while also keeping his son safe (while a little annoying and repetitive at times he IS just trying to keep his son safe).

This was such a good blend of real life emotion mixed with a paranormal angle. It’s heartbreaking at moments and it seems to really highlight the struggles of just being yourself.

Spoiler alert. Chapter 4 had me GAGGED. Ezra’s mom and Judy confessing their love for eachother in the middle of dinner, in front of their husbands, had my jaw hitting the floor so hard it was basically in the underworld.

I always think there’s no way these sock-puppet erotic horror stories from Jamie Kort can get any more vile but I am once again proven wrong. I absolutely loved this one. Full of filth, gore, and pure sock-puppet chaos, this was the perfect sequel to the Soxorcist.

If you ignore the insta-love that takes place here (eye roll) this is actually a really cute, cozy book that’s not SUPER heavy on the spicy side. As someone who prefers small town living, I personally really enjoyed this one. I look forward to reading the next one and spending more time in Dream Harbor.

This started out strong and about halfway through I found myself just waiting for it to be over. Did it really have to be so long? And of course there’s the whole “we’re mates” thing. How original 🙄 If I had to hear the word “mate” one more time I would’ve chucked this book out the window. We. Get. It. I think what I don’t like here is that Rhys as the love interest is so heavily forced upon the reader. HEAVILY. And I get it, he’s charming, he’s the strongest high lord, but he’s almost just as possessive as Tamlin was…so. There’s an underlining ick here somewhere. And let’s not forget Feyre spends this entire book basically talking shit about Tamlin. Woe is me, Feyre. Damn.

Sarah J. Maas is a decent writer though, I’ll give her that. The world building is solid and for that alone I’ll give this 3.5-4 stars. This series might be a little overhyped in my opinion though.

This is a fast paced horror novel that’s sure to terrify any reader. On top of all of the creepy vibes this book has to offer, it also deep dives into human emotions such as grief, loss, and guilt which can sometimes be more horrifying than evil forces lurking around the corner.

Book 2 in the Mrs. Claus Mystery series and just as cozy as the first with just the right about of humor. Who thought bringing a little Halloween fun to Santaland would be so chaotic, I was wondering whodunit until the very end. Such a fun read, I absolutely love this series and can’t wait to start the next one.

I’m obsessed with this cover but that is where the obsession ends with this one sadly. The story is a bit all over the place and I personally feel this would’ve been better as a novella. Sometimes it’s okay to take out the things that don’t work. The actual premise of the book is so intriguing but it just gets lost in this authors writing style which is a bit clunky.
