It was a very nice and easy read. I’ve been super busy lately so it was nice to have something breezy and mysterious to read…

I loved this book, it was a break in between a series I’m currently reading.
The reimagining and retelling of fairy tales in this is so good. I love the aspect of it.
I’m still unshure as to whom some of the girls are meant to be, I don’t know if that’s cause it’s just gone over my head or if it’s because, I’m bad with clues.
There was a bit of trigger warning for this book, I don’t feel that most of them are needed for the first book.

What a fantastic sequel to stalking Jack the Ripper, I’m loving the when will they with Aubrey and Thomas.
The ideas for this book is magnificent I’m a history buff so being able to experience a world that takes you back in time is wonderful. As well as taking certain figures from history and making it your own sort of story. I highly recommend this series I’m about to start escaping Houdini.

I loved this book, I love a good thriller and mystery novels and this was all of that and some more. I can not wait to read the second one in the series.

Also if you’ve read the Montague siblings trilogy by Mackenzie Lee I highly recommend this book. Aubrey gives of felicity vibes and I love it or vis versa.

The writing style was flawless, the book I ate it up. so if you love murder mystery sort of stuff or real life events with a spin pick this up.

I picked this book up because I read house of hollow first and could not for the life of me get that out of my head. I like books like that so I thought I’d give this one a go and I did and my oh my was it good.
The twists and the turns.
At one point I was nearly in tears (ps I’ve never cried while reading a book) I really connected with these characters so much. I will read anything by Krystal that’s 1000% for sure. Such amazing work…

As the second book to this series I ate this up like nothing else because as much as I loved Monty and Percy. Felicity was my favourite in the first one so I was so pleased with the second book being her as the main focus.
