Read this if you want relationship drama mixed with a bit of mystery and then some kinda random poetical things about love. I love romance so the fact that this was mostly about a relationship I found it super fast paced. Not much plot and more about their character and how they navigate their lives. I also liked reading about the side characters and everyone is really rich which makes it even more entertaining. I also liked the friendship dynamics and it's dual POV in first person.

Overall it was really enjoyable and I really felt the same emotions of the characters. I liked the world building and it was well weaved into the story line. The overall vibes were there. I didn't love the romance plot since it felt a bit underdeveloped and rushed towards the end, it's sort of a 'You've Got Mail' kinda vibe. But I really liked all the side characters and the world of the book so I will be reading the second one. It feels like a beginner friendly fantasy which was nice cause I don't read too much of it.

I actually really enjoyed this lol
I read after having seen the film for the first time in a while recently and it was a lot better than the movie which could be why I liked it so much.
Edward had a personality and he’s much better developed as a character  compared to the movie. I found Bella way less annoying although at times she irritated me I though their romance was fairly well written and reading about the Cullens was a highlight for me regarding their family dynamic.
It took me about 60 pages to get really into it but then the story just sucked me in, the warms building was decent and the story was fast paced and compelling. It was a nice bit of escapism considering I don’t really read fantasy that often and I find it hard to get into. The writing was easy to read although I found the language a bit odd sometimes (probably cause it was written in 2005) but still.
Overall an enjoyable exciting read with romance, tension and a good amount of suspense. I will be reading the entire series now.

Was enjoying it up until like page 260. The ending felt rushed and incomplete but I guess an overall enjoyable engaging book if you don’t want to use a lot of brain power, kind of a mindless sort of palette cleanser. I’d probably read her other books though, I liked the characters but there could have been more character et development. It kinda felt like there were chucks of text missing at some points and that it was trying to be deep but really it wasn’t. The sex scenes were decent and the development of their romance was really sweet. But overall kind a meh sort of book.
