i quite liked this! it was a complicated story that needed nuance, and i think that nuance was (for the most part) there. i do wish that some of the characters were fleshed out a little more, and i don’t think it was perfect, but i def enjoyed reading it

vaguely baffled that one of booktok’s fav sapphic recs quite literally compares the one (1) lesbian character to a straight man. but go off I guess. there were also many other issues but I’m too fed up with this book to bother doing a more comprehensive review

beautiful - I adored this book. I will say that I found the frequent perspective shifts tricky to follow, so I found it a slower read. if I were to reread, I might try to find the audiobook so that I could have different voices to help with that
