Reminds me of the time I so hate Buggy and is frustrated for all he chaos happening and how Luffy and Zoro practically share all brain cells 😆 Love these crew so much even if they stresses me for like 101% all the time 😆

Finally, I am rereading this whole series, but on the published version one.

I always have a soft spot for the original trio, and of course, my boy Koby.  Thinking about this volume (chapters 1-8) and the latest episodes of the anime— all of them really have gone so far in their journey.

Overall, I'm feeling super nostalgic and super emotional. One of my favourite series of all time 🫶

This graphic novel series continues to be relatable, adorable, and splashing all sorts of emotions that make me so giddy, sad, happy— in general makes me so emotional.

Other than that, this volume takes me way back in my last year of senior high, the stress of applying or choosing universities and the idea of being alone there and far from your comfort zone— just hit bullseye to me.

What I love the most about this series specifically was the self-discovery in general, healthy friendship, and family bonds. I really love books like these 🤧 I so appreciate the bond forged it and how far these characters have come in the point of their life.

The idea that this series is finally ending is giving me so many emotions 🤧 Can't wait for the final volume 🙌🏼

TW: Bullying & Child Neglect

First things first. I think I was clickbaited by the cover, which obviously has a pleasing or distinctly manga art style. However, in the actual story, it didn’t look like that. This is one of the reasons that threw me off.

Other than that, the bullying here was too much? And it was something I had time reading. I was expecting it to develop, and more like the bullying would slowly be resolved, and the FMC would have gotten better, but I think it just started to be worse.

Furthermore, the mother. I have mixed feelings regarding the mother. In my opinion, she obviously is neglecting her child and thar FRUSTRATES ME SO MUCH.

I'm not sure if I'm gonna continue this one tbh.

Thank you Yen Press for the review copy.

I'll be honest. The kind of regressing MC plot is interesting, reminds me of Solo Leveling, but as a Solo Leveling reader , I have loved the comic so much, putting this comic in the same sentence of Solo Leveling is kind of a taboo for me.

Respectfully, the premise or the plot of this comic is intriguing, yes, but the MC just ruined it for me. He's so pathetically annoying and reminds of those side characters that is a villain/ heroes wannabe.

I'm not sure if I wanna continue this, but I think I'll give the 2nd volume another shot, and hopefully, the MC there wouldn't be that much of annoying because I honestly wanna like this comic.

As expected for this manga series— you will be giggling and kicking your toes because of how adorable and sweet this story is.

Fine developments are going on here, and although I'm happy for our main pairing, I'm also quite sad about the 2nd lead.

Overall, it's super sweet and cute 🫶

It is an interesting concept of a fantasy graphic novel. I would say the synopsis really did hook me and had me expecting more aside from the remarkable art panels.

However, the storytelling execution, in my opinion, was kind of did not go well in the whole story or like what I was imagining it to be. Instead of being intrigued by it, it sort of thrown me off. I would say the dialogues were lacklustre for me?

Overall, I think I would have enjoyed it more if the storytelling execution was much more appealing and engaging. I would have liked it more if it did captivate me from the start towards the end.
