This is the 2nd book I’ve read by Alice Feeney and she is the Queen of plot twists! I did not see that ending coming! This is a fast-paced book with a mysterious, tense atmosphere throughout the entire book until the ending when everything is revealed. Highly recommend!

While this book started extremely slow for me, once I reached the halfway point I couldn’t wait to read more of Elizabeth’s story. I loved the story being told in dual timelines as it helped break up the monotony of just Elizabeth telling her story.

I loved Javier’s love for his daughter, Carrie. This a book where I enjoyed all the characters and that’s rare for me. Carrie is an inspiration. I think this is a great read for sport lovers or people who are afraid to go for something just because of their age.

I read this book in 1 day. While I thoroughly enjoyed it, there were multiple plot holes in the story which lowered my rating.

I enjoyed this book, I loved Riley’s character, and the trio of friends, but I got exhausted from how long the paragraphs were. It was like every time a character spoke they had a monologue.
