- I loved Juliette and Adam together. Especially since they knew each other from childhood. (Yes, I kind of know what eventually happens with Juliette and Warner).
- James is so sweet and a positive/innocent person in such a dark and scary world.
- Kenji is so funny and not who I was expecting.
- It was interesting to learn more about Omega Point and the abilities that other people have
- I’m not going to continue the series right now because there other books that I want to read. I would loved this book more as a teenager.

- Evelyn Hugo’s life story is certainly entertaining and eventful. However, I don’t love it enough to keep my copy. I had high expectations because of how popular it is. I only started enjoying it towards end.
- I didn’t like Evelyn that much for most of the book. I don’t agree with how she treated Celia early on. I guess I don’t like how fake everybody is to each other but that’s Hollywood. I actually started to like Evelyn more after she retired from acting. When Evelyn started living as her true self. I enjoyed Celia St. James and Harry Cameron’s characters more. Evelyn, Celia, Harry, and John (and eventually Connor) being a family together was my favorite part of the book.
- I didn’t care about Monique Grant’s character at all throughout the book. The plot twist at the end was what made her interesting to me. I was mostly reading this to know who Evelyn Hugo is.
- The Old Hollywood glamour and timeline was fun and well-written. I especially loved the outfits and historical references. I also enjoyed seeing the actual media articles on Evelyn and getting to read about her in that perspective.
- The plot twist towards the end! I kind of suspected it or made guesses about it early on. I wasn’t exactly correct but I had an idea.

- I didn’t know much about Madison Beer’s life story before reading this. However, I do like her music and I was curious about her memoir.
- I really enjoyed reading this book because I got to know Madison on a personal level. I can understand her music and lyrics more after learning everything she’s endured. After reading it, I feel like Madison Beer has become a close friend.
- I could connect with her story about mental health. That made this book all the more realistic and meaningful. There are so many quotes that resonate with me.
- I loved that she included journal prompts based on the topic of mental health she was discussing. It’s so thoughtful of her to share her journey with the reader and encourage them to open up. I actually stopped reading and did some of them.
- The cover is simple and beautiful.

- Emoni is such a loving and caring mom. Even while juggling high school, friendships, cooking, teen drama, and everything else life throws at her. Her growth is incredible to be a part of.
- Malachi! The sweetest love interest. Malachi is so thoughtful and cute. He respects Emoni’s boundaries and situations with her daughter. The romance between them is honest and genuine. Malachi and Emoni on the trip to Spain is 🔥🥰💋💕
- Emoni’s passion for cooking is amazing. The descriptions of the food and how she cooks is magical. I want to try all of the dishes and recipes in the book. Cooking is not a common hobby in books and it’s cool to see it highlighted in this story. The descriptions of the food and how she cooks is magical. I love how proud Emoni’s of her culture and background!
- Elizabeth Acevedo’s writing is so poetic and lyrical. She gives Emoni such a powerful and compelling voice.
- My life and Emoni’s are so different. However, I still feel like I can relate and connect to her character. I love books like that.
- The setting of the Philadelphia city life was new and fun for me to read. Especially the slang words and pride the characters have for Philly.

- this book is so intriguing and thought provoking! I spent any free time I had reading because I really couldn’t wait to find out what happened next. I devoured Little Fires Everywhere.
- There are so many characters and inter woven storylines. It wasn’t hard to keep track and all of them were interesting.
- I enjoyed how the author broached topics like motherhood, relationships, adoption, surrogacy, abortion, racism, and a seemingly utopian society. All of this while still keeping the characters and their stories engaging.
- The metaphorical writing! Using elements of nature or just about anything to describe the emotions of the characters was wonderful to read.
- It’s a little slow in the beginning but once you get to the know the characters and the plot picks up, it’s completely worth the wait. I’m so happy I grabbed this book from a Little Free Library!

- Olive and Ethan are so fun together! Their banter is fun and I love how they call each variations of their own names.
- It seemed like they had some misconceptions about each other, which caused the misguided notions. They clearly like to bicker and compete with each other. To me they weren’t exactly enemies.
- Olive and Ethan remind me of Mia and Nicholas from the movie The Princess Diaries 2 (especially the “I loathe you” and kiss scene!)
- The timing of the comedic and dramatic scenes are so on point
- I definitely understand why Christina Lauren books are so popular! This one specifically had a lot of charm, romance, humor.
- Olive’s family is so supportive and protective of each other.
- The epilogue is amazing and I loved it!
- The drama between Ami and Dane. OMG. I didn’t see it coming but I’m not surprised either. I immediately got bad vibes from Dane. I think it’s interesting that they were together from the beginning but Olive and Ethan are meant to be.
- I didn’t like or understand the obsession with boobs and body parts in this book. It was too repetitive about them. Like we get it, Olive has big boobs and Ethan is attractive. However, I’m not opposed to reading other Christina Lauren books.
