This book has the same terrific characters and writing we’ve gotten from previous Bosch books although there is certainly so,e terrifying stakes involved with Bosch’s daughter and consequences that will haunt him for the rest of his life.

Such a delightful book I had a great time reading it. The characters are great but I’m so fascinated by the worlds Sanderson has created and the creativity involved. Just outstanding

I thought this was really well done. The antagonists have a deeper motivation besides just terrorism and the team up offered some explosive results. The endgame was terrifying and exhilarating. One of the best in this series for sure.

I had a great time reading this book. A lot of great insight into different ways of watching movies outside of the house. I won’t say I agree with everything said in terms of watching movies or even movie criticism-it did open my eyes and desire to try the “little guy” theater to view these movies.
The humor in this book was a lot of fun and of course since this took place in 2001 the section regarding 9/11 was a bit of a shock considering where Kevin was and it certainly pulls at the heartstrings. I would definitely recommend this book (I do wish the publisher would go through and edit as there were several misspelled words in my kindle edition but I don’t consider that in my score).

Probably my favorite book of the series since book 3. This had some excellent action and magic as well as mystery. The humor is toned down a bit and I appreciated that. The magic wasn’t too bonkers (except maybe one thing but it fit into the story).

Mark Greaney does it again with another phenomenal Gray Man book. The stakes have never been higher and the dangers have never been greater. There are faults and mistakes and it leaves you wanting the next book just as any good novel should.

This is an outstanding beginning to the Bound and Broken series. While there are some familiar fantasy elements it’s told in such a refreshing way. Ryan is a wordsmith and you can’t help but want to keep reading. I’m very excited to continue this series.

I’ve been pretty critical of this series and author because I never feel like the characters grow or are in any kind of serious peril and the trend continues. Harvath goes to Ukraine to take out the most evil Russian mercenaries and of course it’s seemingly no big deal. You never believe his characters are in serious mortal peril. There’s a few side bar storylines that don’t really amount to much (another villain who claims he’s smart but reader can tell this guy is an idiot and he crumples very quickly). I think this series peaked with Backlash the last time the main character felt like he was in true danger and each book since has felt overly formulaic just a change in plot but the characters copied and pasted over from the last book (they all like Nicholas’s dogs, funk music and fine dining, and a morbid sense of humor which the author always assures us is a sign of high intelligence). Spoiler alert: expect more of the same with 2024.

Thought this was a real solid book featuring Boba Fett and some other popular bounty hunters. In ways, I wish we had gotten this story for the book of boba fett. I liked going back and forth in time with the story.

This book was surprisingly short but had a pretty good story with some misdirect mad a decent finish. I wish it had been longer as Connelly writes his characters so well but this was still very solid.
