This was a wonderful, little book. It’s a cross between a memoir and an informative, yet reflective study of the natural world. The life stories intertwined with pieces of the natural world were wonderfully written.

Well written book about family life and mental health. While I enjoyed reading this book and thought it worthwhile, I enjoyed the author’s previous book more.

Set during World War I, I found this book informative and interesting. The characters were a bit predictable, but enjoyable nonetheless. I would have liked more resolution for the main character since she was a real person, but that was lacking.
