Flaws of characters a main focus? It's complicated

This is an emotional roller coaster love story that pleasantly surprised me. I cried, and I appreciated the unexpected emotional investment this brought on. I went into this being told there was spice, agree to disagree, but that didn’t kill the story for me.
This horror novella was everything! I loved the depravity of our home invaders, especially Elle, and found myself horrified while also uncomfortably laughing at our home invaders antics. And kudos to the author because this ending had me shooketh. This is absolutely extreme horror and was not made for the faint of heart.
Despite the similarities to Den of Vipers this book is more a diet Den of Vipers. The timeline progresses relatively fast and our harem is more Robin Hood-esque than morally gray. Overall, if you’re here for the spice, you won’t be disappointed.

In this dystopian world, all animals have been infected with a virus causing their meat to be inedible. So logically, the next step is animals are eradicated from society and legalized cannibalism is where it’s at. There are gory vignettes of everyday moments such as family dinner, and eating people is just part of the background noise. It’s dark as hell, it’s uncomfortable, but it was also a great skin crawling read.
Lana and Logan’s story wraps up nicely in the final book of the series. It’s gory, it’s bloody, and it’s a love story through and through. A quote that perfectly fits this series from the book itself is “horror romance that’s a genre, right?”
Book four in this series is just as perfect as the first three books. Lana and Logan’s story quickly progresses, more of the case and Lana’s past is divulged. It’s gory, it’s bloody, it’s sexy, and it will leave you rooting for the serial killer.
The concept of this book is great, hide for 7 days in an old abandoned amusement park during certain hours of the day, don't get found, and you'll win 50K. There are 14 contestants total, two of which will be eliminated every day. It's a creepy read heavily reliant on discovery and told from an abundance of perspectives.
This is a great continuation of Lana and Logan’s dark and steamy story. This book was a bit more graphic than the first two books in the series but you definitely don’t mind so much because you want Lana to seek the revenge she deserves. We are left with some unanswered questions at the end as well.
This book picks up right where The Risk left off. Lana and Logan’s relationship progresses, and we get a better glimpse into the world that created Lana. It’s intense and dark, but such a great story.
