Idk…was it the perfect way to end the series? I feel like Inan sacrificing himself had to happen but I feel for poor Imani. Losing your sibling like that was crazy! At first I was a little deterred because of the other reviews I had seen but this book was just as good.

A very light-hearted read. Really cute. I do think all the characters needed therapy lol. They dealt with some pretty heavy things. And I guess the book didn’t want to get too deep into it. I thought at first the parents were planning the wedding for Imani & Cyril but it was really for them lol! I’m glad Imani decided to come back home. And her & Cyril getting together sounded better than Preston & Imani’s mom. However, it would’ve been very weird if the parents got together AND Cyril & Imani…that would’ve been a mess. Overall, it was a cute light read.

Well…that was a story to be read. Definitely unexpected ending. It is a lot to reflect on. Like I’m gonna have to take a minute after reading that to regroup before moving on to the next book. I did enjoy the read overall but wow…I didn’t expect the ending.

I thought the book was a cute & genuine read. Really light-hearted and easy to get through. I enjoyed reading it on my walks & while cooking.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 62%.
The book turned into background noise for me. I wasn’t really interested. And the story line didn’t capture my attention after a certain point. It’s sci-fi but it didn’t feel like a true futuristic sci-fi book.
