Is there a plot to this book? Or is it just 300+ pages or 12+ hrs of rich people talking about rich people

3.5 stars. This was an interesting book for sure. I'm not a huge historical fiction fan. I often feel as though they have a very slow burn and unnecessary pages. This is one is no different, but Stacey Lee did make me want to keep reading even if it was slow going. The last 100 pages of this book are amazing! I feel like the first ~260 could've been about half as long and it would have easily been a 4/4.5 star book even as not being a historical fiction reader!
