As other readers have reviewed, this may not be the best book ever written - but it is an important one. This is a heavy conversation on grooming and what men using positions of power looks like.
I found the FMC to be extremely accurate if you are trauma-informed. As a victim of this type of danger myself, I felt often that my story was being told under the friendly guise of a YA fantasy novel. If I had read this book at 14 I might have been more likely to identify and understand why men were approaching me the way that they were. Thank you for that, Ava. I hope so many teenage girls read this.
