Fascinating and lovely read, made even more lovely by the fact that the audiobook is read by the author. I especially liked the nature sound clips included too! Normally I listen at double speed but just couldn't bring myself to do it here, so I took a while to get through it, but it was like having an audio version of Planet Earth to carry around with me while I got stuff done. It was wonderful.

Interesting stories from diverse authors. Enjoyable quick read. Each individual contributor's portion was pretty short, which didn't leave much room for depth. I just wish there was a bit more to the overarching conversation.

This book does such a profound job of holding and witnessing the bigness of life. So many incredible details scattered throughout. I sobbed and sobbed at the beauty and sadness and hope of it all. The author's note is also incredible.
