Nice read, but nothing really special.  I love multiple povs but I’m not sure if I’d actually recommend this book 🤷🏽‍♂️

If obsession isn't love, I have never loved.
Did I, in that moment, resemble Umma as she'd stared at Father and the Other Woman playing badminton?
But is love truly beautiful?
Really? How silly of me. The things I used to say to a child.
But weird how I keep wanting to write your name.
not because of it or despite it.
Whatever it was or wasn't.
Sometimes his very existence to me is the existence of love itself.
In the end, I left just two syllables on the lantern. Gyu-ho. My only wish.

i have mixed feelings about this book. most of it really opens up your mind to healing and forgiveness, but, the parts where she talks about cancer, aids, etc…i hated it. made me want to burn it. otherwise it’s good
