I absolutely hated the MMC, bit after reading in the acknowledgments that the author thinks he deserves a kick in the balls too, I am content. it was an unhinged and fun holiday-read.

this gave me Sally Rooney meets Coco Mellors vibes and that didn‘t really do it for me. sometimes unlikeable, unreliable narrators are BRILLIANT, and sometimes I just don‘t get them…
