ARC Read - 5/5⭐️ I loved it Miguel and Lorena really did it for me. I haven’t read a good Latin XMC book I think ever it was so entertaining. All the characters were amazing Lorena I think is one of my favorite female main characters probably ever written Zeke, my perfect little baby boy, I love him so much like that little boy was so perfect and so adorable. I can quite literally picture him in my mind
I love the relationship between Miguel and his sister Camila, mostly with all the death that they have gone through and just the trauma in general that they have gone through.
The representation of deaf characters in this book, when it came to Desi and Zeke I think was really good mostly coming from a person who doesn’t really know a lot about that community, but it was explained really well. And Lorena when it came to Desi not letting anyone not talk to her unless they were looking at her that is a top-tier friend and honestly just a good person in general because I’m guessing this is something that a lot of deaf people go through all the time and it’s something that really isn’t fair and it’s something that’s not talked about enough where They talk to you but they don’t look at you when they talk to you or you can’t read their lips when they talk to you and I loved how it was shown in the book that she wouldn’t let anyone talk to her friend unless she could read their lips, and she wouldn’t answer any questions for her, because Desi grown women and can answer her questions by herself , they just either have to sign or let her read their lips. The found family aspect of this book was so cute and so good because I got the feeling that it was something that Lorena thought she would never really get the way that she wanted to and she deserved to have a family 🖤🖤.

I loved it it was so good and honestly such a fun read!!!!

Henry and Selena deserved each other and honestly they both have gone through so much and they really truly both deserve to be happy

I love the found family aspect to even when Henry is holding a grudge still because he is always there he’s a good friend and brother and he deserves better then what he was getting and he got that from Selena !!!

Selena is honestly the best too amazing at her job and fell for him so fast loved his found family and really understood him when he was upset she actually saw him for who he was and that was exactly what he needed

I recommend yall all read it it’s fun and cute and spicy made me laugh and cry for them 10/10!!!!!

OK Kristen, at this point, I don’t know what to say favorite author probably like I loved this story. All of her stories have so much meaning and they have so much love and so much backstory, and this book had all of that it was entertaining. It was sweet I cried And it was short. It was such a good short fast read, and the way that these characters not even fell in love with each other but the way that the female MC and the daughter of the male MC became family was beautiful seeing them become a family before the end of the book even if the MC weren’t together was Beautiful❤ I loved it and happen.Something’s happen for a reason I agree with what the male MC did. I think he should’ve told his daughter when she asked but I agree with everyone because I understand why his daughter felt the way that she did but I also understand why he did what he did, and he felt it was necessary Because he didn’t want to hurt her he knew that she didn’t deserve to feel the way that she did about someone who didn’t love her and that’s all you can ask for a parent this book was everything!!!!!

This was so good 4.5 stars for me the enjoyment I had reading this book is crazy but I loved it. I loved both main characters, Nate, and Collins I loved their drama. I loved their chemistry. It was amazing and it was hilarious all at once. Honestly, this book was just pure entertainment And Alexa knows how to write a book. I will say I would love a book on because I also loved all the side characters in this book the side characters were so good and so amazing. The HOA storyline is hilarious it was just I don’t even know how to explain it. I was smiling the whole time, laughing the whole time it was so good.

There was also depth to the main characters with the history that they had and I am also happy that they never had miscommunication like they talked things through. They fixed their shit and talk things through and that was also one of my favorite parts because most of the time when it comes to essentially second chance, they have a miscommunication part, but these two didn’t they communicated how they were supposed to after they got together they never lied to each other they were there for each other, he fell 1st and I think he fell harder that they have for each other even even before they said I love you was so good and so perfect. I hope that there’s a book to this series. I would also love to read more about the two of them.

I love that in the end, Collins didn’t have to give up the stuff that she loved when it came to everything because she was so betrayed by one person that she thought she would love forever that she was so upset when she had to move back to Ohio. But then she realized that she had this love for Ohio that she didn’t even know that she had because since she was young, she wanted to move out and leave and go to Los Angeles. Then in the end it turned out best for her to stay in Ohio, and she ended up being the happiest she had ever been anywhere else.  She got to have her dream job and the man that she has always loved
