Reading this was like a warm hug with the best amount of angst and thrill. The starting had me in chokehold and it is written so amazingly well, the wait was so worth it. Their meet-cute was the best. And I love the way their interactions progressed and all the details.

Avery and their relationship with their friends was the highlight for me. It was authentic and amazing and aligned very well with how they are a person. And I loved the way the issue with his ex was addressed and put to rest.

The book also didn't shy away from exploring sensitive topics. We see a reflection of how mechanisms like rumours and bullying are prominent in high school and how they're not always black and white. And confrontations and apologies are important in environments like these.

I love the cleverness and thoughtfulness that went into this. Also that last scene has my entire heart.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review

Immaculate.

Gansey will always be my favourite character. once i heard the description of his journal, i knew i was a goner. mama i'm in love with a private school white boy who's obsessed with welsh kings (i like arthur too tho)

All the other raven boys and blue deserve their own fanclub and research paper on how much i adore them.

I'm inherently biased when it comes to sports anything but this book is perfect if you're looking for an enjoyable and at-the-edge-of-your-seat read. props to the way exy sounds like something crafted from reality itself. also co-ed sports, I can get behind that any day.

looking forward to reading the sequel, this looks like just the beginning of fucked up.

also warning for unrealistic and absurd depictions of drug abuse. and also for very realistic instances of familial abuse and trauma.

An absolute brilliant book. TJR knows how to flesh character and it is often I wish she wrote me cuz if Murakami met her woman, he'd probably lose his damn mind. I loved this to bits. It has such stunning quotes ahhhh. AND THE SONGS. THE SONGS.

Mostly read it on a whim. maybe just for the sake of nostalgia from my wattpad phase. it was mediocre at best. the only thing that kept me sorta invested was Katie. I dont think many abo fics really put light to the side characters as much as this did and it was nice.
would i be too delusional to root for a polyam relationship between her, Todd and Simon?

one of the best poetry collections, easily. every poem slapped and didn't stop till i reached the end. horrifically beautiful and enchanting and lovely.
