This was really unlike a lot of thrillers I've read, and I'm starting to become a fan of Jennifer Hillier. I loved the twist.

Teddy and Gus!!!! Finally!!!!!!!!

Teddy getting roped into being the nanny for Gus' daughter is the perfect way for this romance to come together (and not something I expected for their story, so it was a nice surprise).

I wasn't expecting this book to be Ada and Wes' story -- I was expecting Teddy and Gus for book two! But I really loved this one. I love the mental health representation that Lyla Sage puts forward unapologetically in this series, and I love the strong female characters. Ada isn't afraid to admit that she's career-driven rather than family- or relationship-driven, which is refreshing.

Erin Hahn writes big emotions and relatable characters so well. This was a great addition to this series, which is full of heart.

Erin Hahn just became one of my favorite romance authors. I went through this series so quickly (like, within a few days) and I instantly felt sad that it was over. Shelby and Cameron share such a sweet, heartfelt relationship, and the book just felt so genuine.

Idk man this is too woo-woo even for me -- it could be about 50% shorter and I would like it. He just says the same thing like 20 different ways.
