Really enjoyed this one! Already on to the next and was a fast read for me, I connected the dots a lot faster than Diem did but it didn’t detract from it being a good read, excited to see where the series continues

I just love the Christina Lauren writing style and this book was no different, a marriage of convenience trope after my own heart with an accent to boot, really enjoyed this one and resonated with the creatively diverse talented Holland just trying to find her way and be practical about limerence. Relatable.

Listened on audio, wouldn’t recommend because of the amount of texting involved in the book, I found that annoying on audio. Overall it was like being in an anxious teen girl mind and just waiting for her to catch up to the revelation of being queer, which obviously, and all the nuance that comes with it, I get the point of her friend Gretchen’s character but honestly there wasn’t much redeemable about her so the friendship felt dragged out. And ok book, probably shouldn’t skipped it personally but I can completely understand how transformative this read might be to a young queer person

I didn’t go into this one with expectations and I’m glad I didn’t. I actually thoroughly enjoyed the book considering I don’t know much about Anna and I honestly honestly don’t know much about her relationships either. This one made me think a lot about my own mental health journey, my own relationship with my mother and what a therapy intensive experience might be like I can’t decide if I feel positive or negative at the end of it, but I did it and I thought it was very interesting. Wasn’t a very strong ending in my opinion, felt like it was almost too early? I understand the importance of our relationship to her dog petunia too, but it did feel a bit drawn out.

Throughly enjoyed this book, it made me think of therapy differently and of my own mental heath in new ways.
