This book is such a beautiful representation of grief and the grief of being a young widow. I want every widow to read it and feel seen, understood, and less alone. Then I want every person to read it so they can be one small piece closer to understanding the magnitude of the loss and what it is to find yourself again.

If I could give this book 10 stars, I would. Incredible story of family, queer grief, love and life after loss. Amazing.

I just couldn’t get into the style of how the book was written- I found it hard to follow and leaving me wanting to skip sections. So much suspense was built up from when the girls are at the camp that their stories before and after that were…annoying.

This book was so good until the end. It felt so sudden and incomplete. I don’t feel like the story finished out.

I was so excited for this book and to see what happened next. It kinda all just fell flat. The ending didn’t make sense given the whole storyline and then it ended on a cliffhanger. Characters actions and characteristics weren’t congruent and overall just meh

Did not finish book. Stopped at 35%.
“The woman” does not need to be a descriptor or identifier. Why did it bother me so much? The woman will never know.
