Another great book by Holly Jackson! Although this book started off a little slower than the first it was still action packed and had me guessing until the very end. I absolutely loved the character development of Pip and her on going strugglings as you continues to lose herself to these cases. I'm looking forward to how this series ends.

This was an absolutely amazing found family story! I'm usually not a fan of books that have time jumps between chapters but it actually really worked in this story. I absolutely loved the brother/sister relationship that Finn and Hannah had! This story was just so heart warming and a great holiday read!

This book was both underwhelming and frustrating at the same time. The miscommunication trope was way over done and the amount of times the main male character ran away from the problems at hand was annoying. Overall the plot was cute but not done well.

This was such a cute Christmas book! This book was basically a Hallmark Christmas movie with lots of funny parts! I will never look a squirrel or a moose the same way again! This book was a little bit long but it didn't drag. Definitely a great book to get you in the holiday spirit!

I would probably give this a 3.5 ⭐s. It was a really interesting story and got even better around the 3/4th mark when it turned into a Stranger Things Upside world. The character development for Arthur could have been better developed but the character got Opal was well done. This was an ok pick for the Reese Witherspoon Book Club.

This was basically the Queen's Gambit show but in a book! This was such a cute book and an easy read. I definitely did not think this was a YA book, it was a little more spicy than I would have expected. I definitely would have categorized this as a New Adult book more.

I enjoyed the female empowerment in the chess world plot line. I really enjoyed this deep dive into the world of chess and continued gender discrimination against women. I wasn't overly impressed with the character development of Mallory although she was the center of the story itself. I felt that her character growth didn't really occur until the every end of the book although it could have happened throughout the story. I did love Nolan's character but would have loved more backstory for him and maybe some of his POV throughout the book.

Overall cute book and another good read by Ali Hazelwood!

This book definitely started off really slow and took me a while to get into it but by the halfway mark I couldn't put it down! I absolutely loved this world that Rebecca Ross has created and the characters within it are fantastic! I cannot wait to read the next book to see how the lives of Jack, Adaria and Torin are going to change!

This book was incredible cute and was a Hallmark movie in book form! I absolutely loved how comfortable Slyvie was in her own skin and wouldn't let a Hollywood star who is in town to film a movie change that! Abe's character was absolutely loveable but I would have loved more backstory of him. Now I wish I could visit the Christmas Cafe!

This book is a must read for any history fan who enjoys a little romance and time travel. This book introduces many readers to a period in British history that most do not know, Bonnie Princr Charlie. The writing is so well done you will be transported there and never want to put the book down.

Very exciting second book in the Outlander series! Wonderful imagery of battle during that time period! Couldn't put it down!
