I really loved the premise of this one so I was super excited that I had gotten an advance copy of it! Of course, I took longer to get to it than expected.

I really loved reading a horror novel on the premise of being stuck/lost in the catacombs of Paris. I knew it was YA going into it, but it felt a bit too heavy on the YA for me. I normally still love reading YA books too.

I still enjoyed it, though. I think it was just the bit of gossipy teen stuff that was a bit too much. I did love the side plot of the little romance with the characters.

Alright Nick Robert's, what the fuck did I just read?!

But in all seriousness, I loved this book! The pace and writing were good for a horror book. I was constantly on my toes, waiting for what happened next. This book was the right amount of creepiness, grossness, and suspensefulness I needed in my horror books!

I can't wait to read more books by you!

I was definitely blown away by this book! Slewfoot and Krampus are still on my TBR. But I'm so glad I started with Evil in Me, especially when I got an ARC of it.

This book combines so many of my favorite things:

🖤 Horror
🖤 Gore
🖤 Possession (think exorcist)
🖤 Punk rock bands

If you're a fan of Brom's others works and/or just love a good demon possession book, definitely check this book out!

Honestly, I'm not sure how much I would have liked this book if I actually read it.

I listened to the audiobook, which was done amazingly! The book is an audiobook about a movie, so having it on audio made it such a better experience.

I wouldn't really call this book creepy or scary. But there are some scenes that made me go WTF Paul?! And I'm pretty desensitized to slashers and gore.

Overall, audiobook is the way to go for this one. And thank God I enjoyed it since I didn't like the last Paul Tremblay book I read.

This book was crazy and nuts, but in a good way. The way it was written was so good. The writing had me feel bad for Chandler, even when he started being a bit crazy.

If you're looking for a physiological horror book, I'd def recommend this one!
