Gothic paranormal romance with a lemon twist of mystery. This series is such a delight. This book has Sylas and Signa in the backseat and our focus on Blythe and her husband Fate. Forced proximity trope, foes to lovers, all the good stuff we love to see.

This book was a lot at the beginning. It hit the gas pedal and never let go, so it took me a hot second to grasp what all was happening. Once I caught up, I was in love with the storytelling and character building. The magic system with the zodiac elements was fun, even though it did feel a tad "Avatar" at times. I enjoyed the dark academia vibes. It's definitely a good read. Warning, bring lots of tissues.

Okay, this book is literally the cutest. A story about a FMC in her thirties where the romance is a back seat plot point and she is a complete boss at taking the reins in her life and emphasizes the importance of friendships. Heck, yessss sign me up. I want more books like this.

So cozy! Like a hug in book form. I love this series, and this book is no exception. The characters are so well developed and touch on issues that I feel are very important. Also, I sobbed at the end. So many feels. 😭❤️

The insta-love thing just is not for me. And literally 2 chapters after they meet they are on each other. Just...hardly any tension build up to that, which for me is the fun part.

Queer Paranormal Romance? Yes, please! Loved this. 1000% Loved this. And how it acknowledged family issues and how the characters actually had to grow from this experience. Just chef's kiss.

Comedic and lighthearted, despite the MC being a Dark Lord...or rather was one? You know what I mean! The beginning took a bit too long to situate for me because of the whole memory thing, but once the midpoint hit and we got to *the plot* I really liked the banter.

I didn't think I'd ever say this, but I actually loved a sequel MORE than the first book. *gasp* I KNOW!!! And that says a lot because I LOVED book 1. The humor, the plot, the romance...it's perfect. And now I wrap myself in a burrito blanket as I wait for book 3. 🥲
