One of the greatest mistake of modern Christian is not exercising our God-given mind. Instead we sit by idly and wait for our savior to come without pursuing knowledge and learning. This book wonderfully displays the need to constantly be learning and desiring a mind for God! There is so much wisdom and knowledge God has for us to discover but we must be intentional and put the effort into finding it. What an amazing wake up call.

I’ve never read anything like this. So insightful and informative. Very thought provoking and helps you examine your own life and where the enemy might be attacking. Such a great supplement to Bible reading.

Many times the word “boundaries” has a negative connotation and isn’t seen in a good light. This book totally flips that idea upside down. It’s a very reflective read and truly challenges your limits. Provides a very healthy view on boundaries and how you should go about that in a dating relationship. Very practical and useful.

The message of this book is one ALL Christians must hear. Sexual immorality cannot be treated as a taboo or else the enemy will be getting exactly what he wants. Randy Alcorn does a great job of bringing this to the light and out of the darkness of shame and guilt. We are all human, we all struggle with this, but thankfully there is a mighty God who will help us through and cleanse our souls. Praise God.

I’ve never read an author like C.S. Lewis. His descriptions, illustrations, and imagination is most certainly lead by the Holy Spirit. I’m not sure how else one could write how he does. This is such an incredible introduction to Christ. It strips Christianity down to its main purpose. Not to build a church, not to become a nicer person but to come to Christ and be transformed by Him. Everything else follows. Lewis reminds us of how personal and loving our God really is.

The treasure principle is something so valuable and yet not spoken of as much as it should be. This book is so digestible and is so clear about the untapped joy that is found in giving. What a beautiful concept Christ has created for us to enjoy.

This book was so much better than I imagined. Charles Colson’s story of redemption is one that shows just a glimpse of God’s greater plan and power. Colson is so inspiring and an incredible example of how Jesus displays love for His people. I loved every part of it and would totally read it again.
