The book started out really strong and fast in a way that really intrigued me, but somehow the rest of the first half went kinda meh. I just procrastinated while reading it. I just felt like some scenes where not that necessary for the plot.
The last third definitely gets .... well it gets something thats for sure.
He imitates smells just like a psicopath imitates behavior. He copies the smell of "human" just like a psycopath would copy a "normal" person response to something.
The incest was unnecessary.

At the end I just ask myself wtf did I just read.

We Should All Be Feminists by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie

Going into this book I was expecting alot more. Given that the author is a black woman I thought the book would present a more intersecctional perspective on being a feminist and a black woman. Given the book is so short this is something that could be directly caused by that, but that aside somethings cannot be ignored, the very heteronormative views on feminism with the erasure of queer experiances being one of them, specially the erasure of trans people. Another problem the book presented to me was the misuse of certain topics of biology without the nuance of the matter, it kinda felt like a poorly researched aspect. All that said in the end it felt like a somewhat shallow discussion on feminism and why we all need to be feminists.
