I don’t understand the ratings. There are SO many better books with spice/smut that are actually well written. 

This was unbearable. Like someone threw a thesaurus at it and chose all the wrong words.

Love to hear the audiobook read by the author - in this case the remarkable voice of Mavis Staples herself. This audiobook would add richness and depth to the paper version if played in a read-along companion style to the paper copy.

I loved the peek into the communities and culture. I would definitely read another book about their next 15 years.
