this is honest to god one of the most underrated ya dystopian novels of the early 2010s, divergent doesn’t hold a candle to these books

ellis and felicity were characters that i absolutely adored and the writing was so easy to get swept up in, but i felt like the motivations of characters and execution of the plot fell a bit flat. i would’ve like to understand the whys a bit more and i think the whole plot would have benefited more from the setting being college rather than some prep school
