I finished this a lot quicker than I thought I would. It's definitely more intense than Icebreaker and I think I'm going to stay away from spice for a little while because this book was a lot of spice. Overall, I don't think this book was bad. But I didn't really like the main couple but I did like the ending.

Oh. My. God. This book! Too good. So sad though. Like, very depressing but very amazing. I loved the characters, everything! Especially Dol. I really related to her, being left out and second option all the time. But I'm glad it had a happy ending because it was an emotional rollercoaster that's for sure.

My first murder mystery! Did I guess it? Yes, but not until more than halfway because I'm just awful at that kind of thing. But I actually really enjoyed this one. It was so easy to get through and the pace was really good. Maybe I'll keep looking around for the rest of these books.

This one was so bittersweet to get through. Because the start was so good and the end was so good but the middle just felt like things were moving along too quickly. I have nothing against that but sometimes I'd forgotten where the characters were because they'd moved from one scene to another so quickly. The last couple of chapters were so good though!

I think not actually having seen the movie affected my judgement on it so I really want to get a couple of the other Twisted Tales series just to see if I enjoy them more.

Now, this one did take me a good while to get into and as I was getting through it, the characters were not likeable at all. Except maybe one or two. But the further I got, the better this story got. (Trigger warnings for rape and school shootings) some chapters, I had to pause and give myself a minute to kind of collect myself and be like "did that really just happen?!" But it's sooo worth it in the end.

After Icebreaker, I needed something light-hearted and fun and cute. No spice! Which I definitely needed no spice in a romance right now. But it was so fun to read and I fell for some of the characters which I didn't think I would do when I first started reading it but I'm glad I did.

First read of 2024 complete! It did take me a while to get through this one and it was like 80% spice but overall it was good. It definitely had it's cute moments.
