WHAT THE ABSOLUTE FLIP ?! I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS !! The plot twists had me gaping and putting my book down every 20 seconds omg !! Must say it was sorta hard to get into at first with the split narrative being added on but I absolutely fell in love with it overtime!! Only thing that annoyed me is those pieces from Juliette’s journal because honestly they BORED me and threw me off at the beginning of a chapter !! But other than that omg , love love love !! I was NOT expecting all that and goodness me I am sprinting to buy defy me right now !! BEST OF LUCK TO ALL READING IT OR PLANNING TO DO SO, ITS AMAZING !! <333

It’s a very good book but does take a while to get adjusted to!! It might be as it was one of if not my first fantasy book but the terms and world-building was confusing at times. Yet it got so so interesting later on and I urge everyone to try it out ! Cannot wait to read the second book!! The plot is great and one thing I will say is that if you are going into this book expecting full blown romance , I hereby warn you that romance/the enemies to lovers plot doesn’t feature much in this book and is relatively a side plot!! Great book , strongly recommend it 💖💖 Good luck to all reading it or about to do so!!

Favourite book in the Shatter me series so far!! Omg Juliette's character development was so good and I could not stop reading. It was so s enjoyable and had plenty of funny moments. Its not a 5 only because of some of the mega hyped up moments being a bit underwhelming but other than that I loved it!! Adam was for sure questionable but the beef he brought on had me gasping . Overall I tots love this book and for sure recommend reading this asap after unravel me (or the novella after unravel me) as its mega fast-paced and quick to get through!! AHH best of luck and fun to all those reading this or planning to do so!!

Ehhh, I must say this book was in my opinion so so. Of course I was stressing the whole time and absolutey gobsmacked at the plotwist mid-book, but from there it got slightly dull and repetitive
when Pip already killed yk who and was trying to get away with it and plan her escape
The build up and stress of the plot-twist and
thinking Pip was gonna die or whilst she was escaping and overall the build up to that
was so stressful and had my stomach twisting so bad it physically hurt, but I wanted to know!! The ending was sort of underhwelming
with us not knwoing what happens with Pip and Ravi in the end, not if Pip even replied to him and with what?!
, I was hoping for a little more context but I think it's a real welldone to Holly Jackson for having me so angry and desperate for more at the end. I feel we could've had so much more with this book and, I'm not sure, I feel I was expecting more from all the hype around the finale . Overall the first half was mega interesting and the plot-twist part but after that, the book sorta went downhill (in my opinion).
And just in addition I think Pip's druggie era was totally weird and unecessary.
.   One thing I for sure LOVED is seeing the contrast between boook one Pip and this book Pip. Other thank that goodluck reading this, you shall need it, for both the good and bad parts!!

Once again, a mega good book!! I enjoyed this book but it's possibly my least favourite out of the three. I found this book a little dull I guess but the ending and plot twist was a tiny forseeable but still had me quaking and flicking like crazy. I'm not honestly one to judge right now as I write this review a year later after reading. Either way, it's definetly worth a read and trust me it's worth for the plot twists!! Best of luck to all reading it or planning to do so <33!!

Love this book!! I had quite low expectations for it at first but must say I was wrong. At first I did find it quite hard to get into due to the long evidence entries but the overall storyline, plot and sideplots did not disappoint!! Ravi Singh had me kicking my feet and giggling, and him , Pip and the mystery had me reading and reading non stop. The plot twists are crazy and the last 50-100 pages (can't remeber - read it a year back) had me stressing, flicking through the book like a madman. This has to be one of my favourite books ever and for sure is the top book of this triology!! I totally recommend this to all as this is what got me back into reading!! AHH best of luck to all reading or planning to read, you will truly enjoy! ( the only reason I put a 4 is because it did take me a little while to get into and found a few parts boring- but whats a good book without a few boring bits?).

This book was so overhyped, no offense to anyone who enjoyed this. The constant time switches every two or so chapters really annoyed me especially that all these flashbacks were SO BORINGG. There is a reason this book took me a good 4 months to read, it was dreadful to open the book and it being so cringey, weird and just dragged on . I really did not enjoy this and pray that maybe the movie might be somewhat better. It wasn;t capitvating for me despite there being some good moments. I feel sorry for all stuck in the same situation as I was, trying to push through, hoping that the book will hit a high point and get good but that never happens. The ending was mega dead too, total disappointment!! Best of luck to all reading this !!

Really enjoyed this book but quite honestly the first half was a bit of a bore and Kenji was the only one keeping it alive for that half! The second half when things really started to happen, it got really interesting and I just wanted to keep reading and reading!! However I must say, I get really bored during those chapters or pages where Juliet spends the time of her life reflecting on how she is a monster, how depressing her life is yada yada yada, if you get what I mean, of course. But hopefully, her character develops a stronger sense of confidence and happiness in ignite me! Overall I enjoyed this book, think it takes a little time to ^unravel^ (wink wink) but once it does it's so consuming and exciting/nerve-wracking!! Tots recommend reading this sequel!! Best of luck reading !!

Personally, no offense to anyone who adores this book, TRORP is my least favorite book by far written by Holly Jackson. Don't get me wrong, it was good and interesting at times, but I did not feel as excited reading it nor as satisfied with the plot twist and ending as I thought I would. The whole book was a build-up to something we already were partially aware of and it got pretty repetitive. I felt as if I could put the book down at any time and honestly just tried to push through for the sake of the plot twist. It was good and shocking but medium-paced, misleading at times and for sure not as good as the other books, I am slightly disappointed by this and evermore the romance trope as well. The final thing I think is worth mentioning is that throughout other Holly Jackson books, hints about the mystery are quite strong and a big part of the plot like the notes, etc in AGGTM and various events in Five Survive, whereas in this book, the hints are more hidden and come to light later on, which personally I disliked. Best of luck to all reading it !!
