I went into this really excited that it had some decent tropes and a beautiful cover. It seemed like Amery and Amir had such a strong love conquers all bond and I stayed for that. However I was so confused because so much was happening in this short novella that I had to go back and reread to try and understand what exactly was happening. I did feel like the author had a great concept though.
Thank you for the opportunity to read this arc @torchlitink
This book was so dark. If you made it through the first book you know how dark they are but I felt this one was darker. I couldnβt help but love Sin even though he did some crazy stuff and I shouldnβt lol This series reminds me a lot of the movie The Skulls. Theyβre in college and a secret society that theyβre initiated into gets away with crimes including murder. The only difference is the amount of smut. This is along the same darkness as haunting Adeline so if you couldnβt read that duet I donβt recommend this one. However the twists were pretty good. I wasnβt expecting the betrayals when they happened at all so my jaw dropped. Shantel definitely kept me on my toes with this one.

Omg what a tragic yet beautifully told story. π₯Ί Jennifer did an amazing job with this. I love that it kinda revisited a character from Still beating and their healing, but it didnβt take over the story. It was just enough. It came together in the end so well. I cried and smiled throughout.
