I couldn't finish because the writing is messy..sometimes it feels like rambling.

Although it was nice to explore new genre, I couldn't get into the story...however the book is an easy read and wasn't bad.

💫This book was an easy read, I enjoyed it very much. It discusses fandom culture, identity and mental health.

💫 I could feel characters emotions and relate to both leads. For example the negative fandom stereotypes, anxiety.

📈 I did lose a bit of intrest near the end.

I was expecting so much from this book, but I was disappointed. It is a slow pace book so..it's kinda annoying. I just wasn't making a connection enough.

I enjoyed this book, the illustrations were beautiful and writing was good.

It gave an insight into moments that weren't included in The Folk of Air series and how Carden became to be who is.

It is a lovely book, but I just couldn't get into it because of the writing style. Maybe classics aren't my thing 😅

I expected so much more from this book. I felt underwhelmed and disappointed.

💫Pros: Discusses important topics like LGBTQ, Racism and identity.

📈Cons: It didn't have enough passion, I didn't feel much of a connection with characters. Wished that that the topics were discussed in depth. On top of that, for one of the main storylines we didn't get the climate it was building up for.

I read Breakfast at Tiffany's and the short stories.

🌡I understand the time period set is 1950s-60s, but I was taken aback by the racial slurs used. It really shows you how times have have changed.

💫The book was easy to read
💫You could feel slight the characters emotions

📈There wasn't much build up in plotline, character development and character chemistry.
📈Lost intrest a few times

💫The book is an easy read, it talks about family relationships, love. It is an enjoyable book.

💫I resonate with the main character, making sacrifices for other people, putting other people first and taking on adul   responsibilities at a young age; as well her being hard on herself.

💫You could sense the emotions, chemistry between her and male lead..also between her sister.

📈 what saved this book from being rated lower is little moments of charm..I wanted more.

This was on my book list, I have been wanting to read it for a while.

I'm happy that I borrowed this book, because I really couldn't get into the writing..I gave it plenty of chances but it was hard.
