i really enjoyed reading this book! i’ll be honest there were just a couple parts that bored me but there were so many more moments that intrigued me so much that i didn’t want to put the book down. this is the first book i used an audiobook for and it was really good! if you like audiobooks, i recommend it!

god i really enjoyed this book. it gave off a huge vibe of the type of fan fiction (writing style-wise) i usually read which made me fall in love with it even more. the trope of enemies to lovers always gets to me and the main character being a poc makes me so happy! the hype surrounding this book is well deserved!

this series........ i felt so empty the moment i finished it. i’ve grown such a deep love for these characters i don’t even know what to do now. all in all i am so happy i decided to read this series. it was very heavy, very angsty, but the chosen and found family trope honestly had me in tears. it’s safe to say this is one of my favorite series that i’ve read!

first i would like to say to please PLEASE read trigger warnings before reading this book as there is some very sensitive material. second i absolutely loved this. it was pretty heavy and dark at times but heartwarming when it came to the found-family trope aka a trope that i am a huge sucker for. i just cant wait to read the next book!

this has got to be one of my FAVORITE books i’ve ever read. everything about it was perfect in my eyes. having a gay latinx transgender male main character written by a queer latinx transgender person is absolutely amazing and i am SO happy to see the representation building. also yadriel and julian’s dynamic was one of the best things i’ve ever read i just enjoyed this novel so much i would rate it higher than 5 stars if i could

i actually enjoyed this one quite a bit, even more so than carry on. roadtripping across america, running into chaos on the way, meeting a new significant character, it was very fun to read! i honestly didn’t expect to like it as much as i did. it may not be everyones cup of tea as a sequel but i do recommend giving it a chance, maybe you’ll be pleasantly surprised!

Did not finish book.
i read less than 100 pages so i cant say i gave this book a fair shot but i found it hard to want to pick back up and continue reading. it’s unfortunate because i was really looking forward to this novel but i guess my uninterestedness won this round

i do hope sometime in the future i become curious again and finish the book. i absolutely LOVE the idea of a lesbian witch because 1) lesbians are rad and 2) witches are also rad and the reviews seem so positive that i hope i give it the fair shot it deserves. but for now it couldn’t quite hold my attention long enough

first, i want to heavily advise reading the trigger warnings before reading this. i went into this book not having a clue what it was even about and i’m lucky that nothing was triggering for me but it might be for someone else. that being said, this book was dark. a lot darker than i was expecting it to be. and i absolutely loved it. i was hooked from the moment i started reading it and hooked the moment i finished it!

I liked this book a decent amount. I can say that there were times where I was heavily invested in what was happening and other times where I felt bored and underwhelmed. Personally, I think it had to do with the constant switching of POVs that made me feel that way. But the one thing that I absolutely loved about this book was Simon and Baz’s dynamic and their relationship. It was really nice to see their progress!
