what a rare thing in this world to get to read the book before watching the movie adaptation! I’d never seen the movie before and wanted to read it before I did, and boy was it fun. Also really fun to read after finishing Alice Madness Returns! I understand some of the references now :’)

glad to add another classic and another nonfiction to my completed list. I liked the narrative/story telling approach, it made it so much more accessible. I read this in the middle of a true crime haze and it helped scratch that itch. I’m okay getting rid of this book lol

this was a randomized read from my tbr and I actually kind of enjoyed it. At least enjoyed it enough that I’d like to finish the series! The series is only two books lol so that’s easy, I don’t feel too overwhelmed by that
