Idk. It was fine. I called the ending by page 50. I'm also tired of female narrators in mystery/thriller novels being stupid. Like... come on. You can create a good story without needing the narrator's dumbass decisions to drive the action forward.

I liked it but it just felt incomplete to me. What happened to all those other men? Why white cats? Did I miss something? I just had more questions than I would have liked. I will definitely be recommending this to the freshmen boys in my classroom.

Lovely and poignant. "Bless This Land" was my favorite.

Idkkkk I just didn't believe the narrator at all. It didn't feel suspenseful to me because he felt so delulu the whole time, and not in the way the author intended I don't think. I also feel like the Charlie reveal wasn't all that shocking. I like the idea of the book and reading about the murders. The believability just wasn't  there.

Lots of twists and turns. A couple felt a tad forced but mostly a solid read.

It was a solid read but I really hate when part of the story isn't resolved.

I liked the story a lot, but it was a little too slow for me at times.
