Ford and Rosie are two peas in a pod. Two hurricanes that can only ever run round each other. The banters are fun. The way Ford became a "single dad" was a bit unusual, but also so interesting. I like the arc with Cora and how she started messing Ford's carefully laid plans. And then adding Rosie to that as well. The mans needed a break *lmao* It was a good romance, though I feel like Ford being a pussy for not pursuing Rosie sooner was so dumb but I also get it (kinda). Like there was no clear reason for him not to, I know brother's sister boundaries yada yada, but West is cool tho and also 10 years??? I mean... I didn't hate it. But also, I feel like if Rosie never came back, he wouldn't have pursued that which was sad to think. I'm glad everything worked out for him, for them. He got what he's been dreaming of.

AND the bonus epilogue is sooo good. I love them having Cora in their lives.

Solid 4.75!

This book is overwhelmingly beautiful. I am inlove with the writing, the plot, the magic system and the characters. I just love that we got a very solid conclusion for this duology. I feel like I got everything I wanted on an ending. Jack and Adaira, my loves. They deserve everything. My favorite journey in this book though, I must say, would be Torin and Sidra's. They made my heart melt. There are alot of pure and wholesome moments in this book which made my heart happy. I loved to see everyone's relationship being mended. Jack and his father's. Adaira and her real parents. And finally Mirin and Frae getting reunited with Niall was so nice as an ending. Reading this book felt like actually entering a magical place. I loved every single of it (albeit the long chapters!). MUST-READ.

I love easy read psycho-thriller books and this was actually addictive. Although I gotta say all the characters were sooo annoying at some point. I was so annoyed at Richard, him gaslighting himself about his "good" daughter??? Like I've never seen a man be in so much denial than he is. And Chloe this psycho little bitch, it's scary how manipulative she was. The lies at the end was so fucked up. And finally the most clueless of all, Joanna! I swear to fking god, I was so annoyed at how stupid she was. Ok yeah go on set up cameras in the house but guuuuurl, a simple voice recorder from your phone would've saved you from day 1! If your husband doesn't believe you and his daughter kept saying shit to you behind his back, your voice recorder on your phone would've been perfect??? I MEAN????

Anyway, it was a good read overall. I did expect the last plot twist at the end abit. Kinda predictable that the author would do it that way.

WHAT IS WITH CHARLIES?????? gosh, Charlie is exactly MY type. Funny, sarcastic, good-looking, smart and a softie at heart. He got me, I am so sorry Wes Bennett! I hate comparing but I like this book so much better than BTTM. For one, the fmc wasn't annoying and the mc totally swooned me with all his funny remarks and cat obsession. Second, them being seventeen wasn't super in my face unlike BTTM. I am a woman past my teens and it's hard to fall for YA contemporary anymore without it making me feel old, but surprisingly, the characters didn't feel super young when I was reading it. Probably also because they were working and barely mentions school. Also, plus points we got Charlie POVs although I wish we got more about his family life. I just also love how he loves every of Bailey's quirks and finds her fascinating. And oh, I love Bailey! She's equally just as funny. I don't really blame Charlie for falling for her. The only thing that's unrealistic here is how he actually thought they wouldn't end up together lol. Their first meeting already have so much chemistry. Their feelings were just waiting to catch up on them since Day 1.  OKAY, BUT ALSO, THE GHOSTING WAS TOTALLY UNCOOL CHARLIE (I just gotta say).

Overall, it was an enjoyable read. Lynn Painter has been redeemed for me.

This book is so beautiful and poetic! I was astounded. I love the writing so much. It really felt like I was taken into a magical world.  The last part broke me, but I am also so excited about how everything will unfold. Jack and Adaira belong to each other! I need them to reunite!

I LOVE THIS. I honestly did not expect anything with this book, especially after reading the atrocity that is Hooked. This served what it needed to serve! Enemies to Lovers done so well. I live for the tension and darkness. While I was also reading this, all I am picturing as Sara and Tristan were the My Lady Jane series mains! It was insane, they fit so well in my head. Sara is such a baddie! I love her. And I usually cringe at possessive mcs but Tristan just have that aura, y'know. I found myself leaning more and rooting for him. His lines!!! Ugh! — “You could burn down the entire kingdom until it’s nothing but charred rubble, and I would crawl over the embers with glee, so long as I could worship at your feet. If that’s love, then yes, I love you.”

Overall, I enjoyed this one sooo thoroughly. Such a big leap from the first book!

For some reason, I went into this thinking it was fiction but turns out it was someone's actual life story. I'm not the biggest fan of non-fiction books, and honestly, as much as inspiring this was, it didn't steer much emotion out of me. It's probably because of the way it was written too.

I am excited to watch the film adaptation though, because DEV PATEL so there's that...

Stunning book! The ending made me cry! The book gave so much Howl's Moving Castle vibes and I was obsessed with it! Eliasz was literally Howl, you cannot tell me otherwise! I am so inlove with the writing. Everything felt magical. Eliasz and Liska are true twin flames. I was so sad when Eliasz died, but the epilogue made me cry happy tears. I just wanted them to be happy and live together for all eternity. They both deserve happiness. I really enjoyed the reading experience. It truly transported me to the Driada!

I gobbled this up like every other Freida McFadden book! It was so engaging, I was reading for hours. The plot twist was good, didn't see that coming. I thought I was so smart believing it was Philip! But of course, I was wrong. Though as much as I loved it, I think I wanted more too. The ending just didn't leave me all satisfied for some reason.
