So the second book made me cry too. It took me longer to read because it’s a larger book but it was so heartfelt.
After I read the scene where the father died I wanted to get up and hug my own dad and tell him how much I love him, sadly he wasn’t home but I’ll do it today.

I love this so much. It made me cry. There are some weird parts that I didn’t really enjoy but they were short and kinda necessary for the main character. It reminds me of the perks of being a wallflower. Both have similar vibes (like that numb sort of feeling) but are different. Ari is just a boy trying to figure out his life but he doesn’t really know how to talk, not even to himself until later. Dante is just a boy trying to figure out his life but he does know how to talk, and he talks a lot.

The main character annoyed me a lot ( and that may just be a fault of mine ) but it really felt like she was trying to be different. Also the relationship in the end is totally toxic and you can’t tell me otherwise.
