Nicole Fox never fails to hook me in her books. Matvey and April meet in a tailor shop where she works. Matvey is there to buy a suit for his wedding. Him and April get off on the wrong foot and they keep bickering. April gets excited when she finds a perfect shirt and enters the changing room where Matvey is half naked. One thing leads to another and they end up hooking up in the dressing room. April later finds out that she’s pregnant. She plans to raise the child on her own. When one day she gets kidnapped, so she has to fake going into labor to get out. She finds out from an instagram post where Matvey is. He is getting married to Petra when April enters the venue and announces she’s pregnant with his baby. From there a lot of things happen and I was hooked. I really love the way Nicole Fox writes and how each book is unique. This was highly entertaining.

This is the second part and the conclusion of Matvey and April’s journey.
April has had her baby, but Matvey is not there as he is getting married, so she does what she must and runs, with some help, Matvey is relentless in his pursuit off finding April and their baby. April is determined and strikes up an unexpected friendships, with Petra, with his hilarious. My heart broke for April who has had a tough life, and she is finally pushed to the limits at always being second best, and her family consists of her closest friends, not the blood related one, as they are horrific. Will Matvey be able to find April and the baby before it is too late?
This is a well written action packed, emotional roller coaster, with family dynamics, friendships, danger, suspense, intrigue, acceptance, drama, angst, alliances, betrayal, loyalty, trust, unexpected twists, humor, witty banter, kidnapping, and love, which leads to a spicy, entertaining, tragic, heartfelt, and unpredictable, addictive page turner, which is the perfect conclusion to this brilliant duet.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend

I read this book for the first time 2 years ago and I still remember every detail of it, it portrays the emotions that go into falling inlove or having a bad background perfectly

5 Stars! I was pulled right into this story. The story has suspense, running, secrets, and heartbreak.Torian is a clever mix of light and dark, back and forth, angst and love. I must admit I was not a fan of either main character at first. The more I read the more I realized that my feelings of friction and tension as I turned the pages actually mimicked the chemistry and tug of war between Torian and Anissa. Torian is intense...dark, and focused, and fierce, and dangerous...brutally strong and confident and at the same time, fighting to accomplish his agenda. Anissa sees only the surface of Torian at first and only what he wants her to see. She is so rigid, seeing life as very black and white, while Torian is very much aware of the murkiness in between those two extremes. She does reveal herself as a strong and fiery woman to match Torian's intensity. It was worth struggling through the tug of war to see Torian's good heart and to get to the unexpected place for our couple at the end. I loved it. It was so worth the wait. I had been really intrigued by Torian in Decker, and I was really surprised and pleased with the twisty path Torian took to get to the finish line.
